I have a dnn website stored in the folder A. I would like to ask if it's ok to copy all the files in folder A to IIS server? or i also need to install dotnetnuke in the server ?

You will need to do a couple of things;
1)  Move the files
2)  Possibly move the database and edit the web.config to reflect the new database location
3)  Edit the PortalAlias table to reflect the new DNN url.

I tried this and the server has indicated the following line has some problems

<machineKey validationKey="A722820E0DFCEF2F87843244D095E51F976C6196" decryptionKey="AEC1A3C6FAAA77CF4C65E39F81BC3DD939FF920B09C6E768" decryption="3DES" validation="SHA1" />

this line of code is in web.config and I really have no ideas what this errors is. could you please give me some advices, please?

I solved this problem. however, i type localhost/dnn/Default.aspx and shows the page of

Nothing To Install At This Time

Current Assembly Version: 04.03.05

Current Database Version: 04.03.05



Click Here To Upgrade DotNetNuke

instead of the contents page of the website...

What shall i do to direct the page to my website?
