Well, I ended up forgoing the GoDaddy auto install and instead deployed the installation files for 4.4 manually.  This worked for me.  I still have no idea what was causing the prior errors, but it must have been related to the steps that GoDaddy's metropolis interface installation goes through.

Hi guys I m new here, I have same problem with Godaddy and DNN 4.4.0 !!, It was working when I installed it first time but when I installed Turkish language pack it didnt worked out and I hade to uninstall it. Then 2 times reinstalled it but I reciveing same  as yours message, I cleared it up from File Zilla FTP connection manualy and reinstalled again;SAME again. Does anyone can help me pls.? Thanks

DNN 4.0 works good on GoDaddy but uninstall and reinstall problems they have.DNN created for easy use, but Godaddy makes DNN difficult by their service.Godaddy has no db accesses and you cant back up your MSsql remotely. , it means you have no any chance for do mistake!! Also their support works so slow ! just sending auto messages to you for recording your Q-help. etc. bla bla ,It means Godaddy is very risky Hosting place for DNN. DOES ANYONE KNOWS GOOD HOSTING service for DNN 4.4.0?

also I had very good help from this URL for Manual install of DotNetNuke on GoDaddy.com (its for previous versions but its work for 4.4.0 too !!) here is http://forums.asp.net/thread/958251.aspx ,its realy helpfull ! Thanks for who share knowlage with others .Specail thanks to "thekubrix".

DNN 4..4.0 GoDaddy iyiçalışıyor ancak GoDaddy nin MSSql e uzaktan erişim (FTP) desteği olmadığı için Verilerinizi MSsql nizin yedeğini (Back-UP) alamıyorsunuz.Bunun anlamı hata yaparsanız verilerinize erişemiyor ,onları makinanızda saklıyamıyorsunu.Oldukça riskli bir durum,Bence Godaddy yerine başka bir HOST bulun.Bilen varsada bana da bildirise sevinirim.

Bu arada FTP den DNN nini eski versiyonu'nu nasıl yukleyebileceğinize dair bir forumdan isinize yarıyacağını düşündüğüm bir URL veriyorum. Burda ki yol 4.4.0 içinde çalışıyor denedim oldu.! http://forums.asp.net/thread/958251.aspx .Burda da bilgisini bizlerle paylaşan "thekubrix" e saygilar .Kim bilgisini paylasiyorsa ona tesekkur ederim .Kolay gelsin

hi Dostum:) I use delux plan to but I have a problem with back up.so Do you have any idea for Back-up MSsql db?Which folde or files needs backup .I askin it becouse Im begineer about DNN) .

TR:Slm Dostum :) Bende deluxplanı kullanıyorum ancak yedekleme problemim var MSsql konusunda.Birfikrin var mı MSsql i yedekleme konusunda (alternatif?) Yada hangi klasor yada dosyalari yedeklemeliyim ? (DNN konusunda yeniyim).
Daha iyi bir Dunya yarat!
