You can't really catch it in the module's event system (not without a lot of code anyway), but you could detect the condition that causes it and do your redirect based on that.

You could also use code to "look" at the output after it is rendered, but catching it before it happens is much better practice.

I would just look for that empty querystring variable in the page_init and then redirect.

Let me know if you need example code to do that.  But keep in mind if you try to do this kind of thing outside of the module code that you would either need to do it in your own module, or put it in the skin, and if it is in the skin then every page that uses that skin would be doing that check.

Thanks Nina... I would definitely appreciate any help from you and your fellow programmer
(also, sorry if there's semi-duplicate post before this one.  I though my first reply had not gone thru, so I re-wrote... oops...)

Thanks John... You mentioned checking this with the page_init... is this a change I would make to the Default.aspx.vs file?  I think I can manage that, but I'd definitely like to see any code snippets you may have regardless.  Also, do you have any example that looks at a passed in variable (other than a querystring)?

I think you're right though... it seems like this may be doable, but not as a good practice.  all duct tape and superglue...

Much thanks to both of you for your help.
