I have an image map in an html file where I am using a relative path in the form of  "../../default.aspx?tabid=xxx".  It seems like FCKEditor does not resolve this correctly.  The path ends up being like http://localhost/default.aspx?tabid=xxx with the site name missing after the localhost.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Thanks,

MK

Have you tried putting in the full url? I'm not sure it's a long term solution specially if you're going to be deploying live, but it seems that's how it renders urls.

The full url works. However, as you mentioned, I need to test this locally before I deploy it live. Therefore, I need the relative paths.  The relative paths are working fine in hyperlinks but image maps seem to be a problem.

I think the issue is when you are working with a virtual directory environment or a web environment - the behaviour might be different.  I'm sorry I can't help you but not sure if it's because you're working in that mode rather than full url mode when a site get's uploaded to server it behaves differently in that environment

I understand your point but there is an inconsistency the way the editor handles the regular hyperlinks(which are fine with relative paths) and the image maps where the relative paths are not handled correctly.  I see this more as a bug if there are no workarounds other than putting the full url.
