Hi,

Is there a way to grant rights for creating reports to administrators, or other roles?

Thanks in advance,

Frank

Not in the current version but I'll add it to our issue tracker as a possible item for a future version. However, I would very much caution against doing this because the Reports module does not, and cannot, check permissions when executing the SQL scripts. That means that an administrator of one portal could access data belonging to another portal. The current plan was to allow Host/SuperUsers to create pre-configured queries that Administrators could select so that they don't always have to ask their Host to do it.

Thanks for the response and explaination. I figured there was a reason for it being so. The plan to allow selection of pre-configured queries sounds intelligent.

I am relativley new to DNN but am studying it in depth. If I could somehow be of help, let me know.
