1006 seemed to have problems with creating internal page links with relative paths (certainly on parent portals)

Ive now upgraded to 1007 onto a 4.3.6 install

Unfortunately, all internal page links are now created as a relative link using linkclick.asp

This is not search engine unfriendly and could not be used on public sites?

if you use the link gallery to add a standard url - it even uses linkclick then

is noone else seeing this - it would be a concern for anyone using it on a public site which they want indexed by search engines

Please give more information with your posts. For example: can put an example of a link with this issue?, also, can you explain how it was working before and now. (please describe)??

linkclick was having problems before, but every problem coul be different, so we want to know if the problem stills the same.

I'm using 4.3.6

When using 1.0.0.6 FCK I was getting absolute links on internal page links.

The site concerned is a parent site, but is not the root site - http://public.qebsolutions.com

I thought that the latest release would fix issue like this - so upgraded to 1.0.0.7 (current release) on site.

I tried adding a link to page and got the linkclick style hyperlink. See on the home page a link to solutions.

This was selected from the link gallery (browse server) option which lets you choose the page concerned.

I then tried entering a specific external url - again using the link gallery page - just to see how it dealt with the link.

And I got /LinkClick.aspx?link=http%3a%2f%2fwww.qebsolutions.com&tabid=53 - see the QEB link on the same page.

If I revert back to 1.0.06 on this site - the issue returns to absolute links and doesnt use linkclick anymore.

I'm using IE7. But repeated the exercise on IE6 adding the services link - still got linkclick.
