Hi all,

I am new to using DotNetNuke.  I was trying to display photos on my site through the gallery module.

I was trying to upload a 12mb zip file full of photos.  On clicking the Add File link, the progress indicator on the status bar moves for a while and then "cannot find server" error occurs.

It seems to work with 1.5, 2 mb zip files.

Could someone please shed some light on this issue, and , is there any alternate way of uploading files to gallery.

Many thanks,

Alan

How fast is your upload speed connection?  As most web browsers will timeout after about 30 or 90 seconds.  So you are probably timing out thinking that the server didn't respond fast enough.

You can continue loading them in smaller chunks, or you can manually upload the files to the server however your system admin allows (eg.. ftp).  You can see my FAQ on instructions on how to do this at   www.Jegers.com
