I have a specific scenario, but for discussions sake the following is basically what I need and cannot seem to do:

Take the Events Module and place it on a page.  Then create a link using the NavigateURL function on another module to open the "Add Event" control.  So, this is what I have so far:

NavigateURL(CInt(GetDesktopModuleByName("Events").DesktopModuleID.ToString()), "Edit", "mid=" & HELP)

Where it says HELP - I need help.  I've tried everything in my arsenal of knowledge and I cannot seem to derive the correct information for the control ID.

Anyone have an Idea?  I cannot hardcode this information, so it must be dynamic in nature.

Thanks!
Tim

Ok, now I've a need for yet another way to access another control from yet another module.  It seems so very necessary to do so that I'm at a loss as to why there isn't documentation or response to my question.

again - I need to navigate to a control within a module from a menu item that isn't part of the module.

If this doesn't make sense - let me know

-Tim
