A two part question regarding the implementation of RSVP codes in role assigning  :

1) can RSVP codes be used to assign roles in realtime rather than having to log out and log back in to view newly permissioned features?

2)  is there a simple solution for placing the RSVP code entry at the point of registration? or would this require fairly extensive ASCX/ASPX modification?

I give many thanks to anyone that can offer some assistance. It's amazing such a powerful feature could get lost in the the volly of text on the DNN architecture.

I wrote a module for DotNetNuke 2.1.2 called the Wittysoft Role Refresh control that can solve the issue with logging out. I'm planning on upgrading it for DNN 3.x/4.x. As for placing it at the point of registration, our product UCanUse.UserAttributes www.ucanuse.com can handle custom role assignments based on rules.

Qualtiy DotNetNuke modules and custom development; we've been serving the DNN community for over 2 years and have hundreds of satisfied customers. Let us serve you today.
