I originally planned to install dnn 3.3.5 in a subfolder (mysite.com/dnn) but i kept getting install errors and on a hunch I moved all the install files to the root directory (mysite.com) and the install went fine.  I'm not a fan of keeping anything except for redirect index pages in root so is there a way to install dnn to a subdirectory?  thanks.

to install DotNetNuke in a subfolder, you need to associate a virtual directory with the subfolder in IIS.

Yes, it can be done, and the host I have put one of my client's websites with has done it that way. Now I am trying to figure out how to fix the problem of not seeing any images uploaded as the image path comes without the subfolder - the "/dnn" part of the path/UTL is missing!!! Anyone knows how to fix the problem???
