All the gallery intergration settings are grey'd out in configuration.  I would like to allow users to have Avitars and also use smiley's.  Any suggestions would be helpfull.

This is a site that was created on Godaddy.com webhosting site.  Dotnetnuke is a feature they offer.

If the settings are greyed out, then the gallery module is not installed.  There will be a new gallery release out next week, I am fairly certain of this.  This is the only way to use these features of the module at this time.

Thanks Crispy.

You were right, the gallery module was not installed.  I tried installing the gallery module and at the very end of uncompressing and installing it gave me this error,

ExceptionSystem.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: type at System.Activator.CreateInstance(Type type, Boolean nonPublic) at DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateObject(String TypeName, String CacheKey) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstaller_V3.GetDesktopModuleSettings(DesktopModuleInfo objDesktopModule, PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.RegisterModules(PaFolder Folder, ArrayList Modules, ArrayList Controls) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.Install(PaFolderCollection folders) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Any suggestion?

BTW Crispy the forums module is a very nice module.  If fact the whole Dotnetnuke cms is awesome

There is a change you need to make to get the Gallery module working, However off the top of my head I cant remember the change. Someone else might be able to pojtn you to the correct forums post or post the change. It's only a few lines of code that ned a little tweaking.

The problem w/ the gallery install is probably the businesscontroller node.  If you remove this node in the dnn file and try to isntall again it should be fine.
