"Since you posted to a moderated forum, a forum administrator must approve your post before it will become visible. Please be patient, this may take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours. Note that you will receive an email when your post is approved"

This is the most annoying thing I have ever seen. I posted some questions last week and still I don't see them anywhere. Even worst I never know if my question will even be posted so I know to look somewhere else. This procedure is seriously preventing me from using these forums and in turn DNN effectively. Why is it even necessary? Is it really so much harder to simply delete occasional spammer than reading every post and manually approving it?

If you log out you can see if your post has been approved (if it appears)
If you didn't get an answere to your post this is mostly not because your post hasn't been approved, mostly it gets approved quite quickly..

these are your posts: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/pagesize/50/authors/381708/scope/threadsearch/Default.aspx

Any missing?

Mind you: due to a known issue with the forums module used here, we sometimes dont see posts for a few hours. So yes, posts are moderated very quickly, but sometimes it can take really a long time. This is something that is being worked on, but for now it will have to do. Just post more, show yourself to be a good forum dweller, and a moderator might unmoderate you (or become benefactor, that will unmoderate you as well)
