usually any page author can move the modules by drag&drop on to any pane on the page. this is default feature of the framework

Sorry but I can't do this on my DNN. It's a new 4.4.0 with no custom stuff. I tried with the Host user then with an other user who were admin and the creator of the page and it still doesn't work.

Are you sure there's nothing else? Could you explain me exactly what you do to drag and drop modules perhaps I've forgotten something. But it's not the first time I use a web 2.0 website.

Thank you for your help.

If you have page editing rights, click any module title and hold it for a couple of seconds. It will then become movable and you can drop it elsewhere.

That said, I've been noticing that this doesn't always work since about version 4.36. I'm not sure if it's certain skins or what, but sometimes the drag and dop refuses to kick in.

Thank you. Now it works. I didn't let the mouse on the module title enough time.
