I just finished a new version of the CSS NavMenu that does flyouts. It is in this months Skincovered Goodie Bag.

I agree Timo that getting it to work on Opera and FF is the biggest issue with Solpart / Tab Menu. I just noticed that it is brocken there too.

I will have a look at css nav menu for my personal projects. One question - Does it have dropdown menu?

Until the new version John just announced it didn't
You could create a tabbed menu with housemenu too, but only if the tabs are all the same width, since it doesn't render <span><a></span> as CSS NAV MENU does (sliding doors)

I should note that my menu samples are meant to be a proof of concept, and not really meant for production.  Obviously the ugly red/white with the blue/black theme is not really nice to look at.  As such, I have not kept it up to date as I expect the people who utilize the concept to use their own images and css tweaks.  Just felt the need to clarify the skin's purpose.

Jon I m sure people would change it. However, I give your example as I think it is the only free sample available with tabs, so please dont take it down as it is a great reference for people to model to and build their own, Most free skins around are using standard tab structure.

I have studied the example on the solpart site, but it is written in HTML with XML tokens.  I am trying to create my skin using ASCX controls and the CSS sheet.

I purchased a really nice skin that I am using here that does the tabbed menu I desire, but after burning hours of time studying their code and trying to reproduce the meny, I can't get the aforementioned code to work!  Its mysterious and frustrating!

Has anyone produced a super stripped down skin in ASCX using the tabbed menu look?  I would pay a modest amount of money to pay for workable code that would instruct what I am doing.  The solpart example is good, but can I don't know how to translate the "CDATA" string in the example into an ASCX code.

Thanks in advance
