Sorry if this is a stupid question, but, how do I create new forums?  When I install the forum module i get one forum group (discussion) with one thread (General).  I can't seem to find anywhere where I can create a number of groups and threads.  Can someone please help?

TIA,

don

Just started using DNN. I'm on version 3.1 .

Log on as admin. Hover the mouse over the container arrow at top left hand side. You'll get a drop down menu. Choose manage forum. You can add forum groups, each group can be exploded using the + sign and from there add forums inside the group. Once youve a forum inside the group created when you click on this from forum home a new thread button is visible.

Hope you can follow this! Maybe if you're on 3.2 or 4.0 you'll have one of the other issues posted.

Have you downloaded the documentation for the forum module? It's in the Project Downloads section and covers most of the configuration tasks in a good amount of detail. I'd recommend getting it if you don't already.
