I have been able to download the 4.3.7 Starter kit. Loaded the templates. Built the website with VS 2005 and the DNN template. It builds and I am able to get to 'My Website' and login and poke around and in general all seems to work.

However ...

After a power cycle, I can no longer get to my site. I have to delete it and rebuild it. What am I missing?

? - I am Assuming that the starter kit does all the stuff that I would need to do if I used the install package. IOW, I have not set up a database or even a virtual website in IIS. Is this a bad assumption? If so, is there any purpose to the starter kit other than the VS templates?

Please HELP. I'm quite confused.

i suspect you're having an issue with VWD's dynamic ports, see this for the web.config fix.
