The download link on the project page is pointing to 3.1.0 version, but the date is 18th november.

I got curious and found that there is actually a version named 3.02.00 with that date on the prdowloads.sourceforge.dnn area - and it is possible to download this file. But this is not the one beiing pointed to from the prosject page.

I installed the 3.02.00 version on a DNN 3.2 website and it is working fine.

Is the UDT .3.2 released (and the link wrong) ?

or

Is it for some reason not released (but still available from file area)?

Paul,

I only noticed from your post about the available file at suorceforge. Unfortunately this is a pre-release version without the latest fix we added on Nov, 16th and has been tested during the days after, so please install the 3.2.0 update, when it is available. We are still waiting for the release and I expect it will not take long, as dogfooding has been reported to be successfull more than a week ago.

I also noticed that the Nov 18 download of UDT 3.2.0 for the "source" does not contain any source code. No VB or proj files, only ASCX, DLLs, etc. So, it looks similar to the "install" package.

It does contain source, it's in the .resources file which is essentially a renamed zip file, that is extracted during install and the files are moved to the correct places (this is how all the source versions are supposed to work). That is the issue Sebastian described i.e.

  • the install version is correct
  • the source version will also install and work correctly, but the unzipped source files contain 1 file that is not the latest version (MakeThumbnail.aspx.vb), so if you try to recompile it in vs.net then it will not work as expected. I've rebuilt the source version (it was my fault), and am waiting for someone to update the download.
