Hi,
I followed the steps for configuring the DNN Environment. I didnot change the default provider, as i wanted to get the feel of DNN. I created a blank Database and modified the web.config accordingly. When i continued and executed the application, everything went on well and i got the message in the browser saying "Instalation Successful". Also there was a link to navigate to website created. I checked my Database and there were default tables created, which i think is absolutely ok.
When i clicked on the link, it took some time and then returned error message saying, "One or more modules failed to load. This may be temporary, press F5 to refresh and if the problem continues contact system administrator.". I pressed F5 and the error didn't appear and i could see the default page of DNN.

Now i tried loging in using "host" account. It worked fine. I now tried to register new user. I got the register screen. I filled in the details required and when i press on the "Register" link i got error message saying, "AN ERROR HAS OCCURED. Error: Register is currently unavailable."
But the user which i tried to register has been saved in the database and i can login with the user id which i used to register.

My question is:
Is this a Bug in DNN as i have not changed anything and used the default provider?
Or
Is this an Installation problem?
And How can I fix it?
I thought it could be an installation problem and tried to reinstall/configur the DNN environment from scratch and every time i faced the same problem which i have mentioned above. Your suggestion or help is required.
I am using DNN versiion 4.3.5 under VWD 2005 Express and Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Thanks.

You should find error messages in the log viewer (in the Admin menu) that can help to diagnose the problem.

Unfortionatly, I loged in using admin account and when I clicked "Log Viewer" , a new error appeared saying..."
An error has occurred.
Error: Log Viewer is currently unavailable."
I tried to log in using host account ,but the error became..
"
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Arabic_CI_AS" and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Arabic_CI_AS" and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError"....blablabla!!
what shall I do in this big problem?
thanks in advance

I've only ever seem the collation order error when running a query between different databases that have different collations set.  The only reason I can think of that you could get it with DNN is if you somehow created some tables using one collation & others using a different one.

I assume your local language is Arabic?  If not, then your SQL Server configuration has issues...
