I have two modules (Sender Module and Listener Module) on the same page. I need Listener module to listen to sender module. I think I can achieve this by using DNN Intermodule Communication mechanism or Querystring. By Querystring, I mean sender module will put some parameters in querystring and listener module will get them from it, thus sender module can communicate to listener module. At this stage, I'm not sure which method is a better solution. By using querystring, when a user click Back button in brower, he can go back to previous page. What advantages does DNN Intermodule Communication have over querystring method? I must have missed something here, since Intermodule Communication is a built-in solution.

Thank you very much for your input. Waiting online.

AFAIR, you can pass objects between modules using IMC. That's not posssible with querystrings.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?

IMC messages are not sent to the client, which can be an advantage. Also, IMC communication can be two-ways. For example, Module A can fire a message, Module B can then process the message and send another to Module A. IMC is a lot more flexible than query string parameters.
