Well said!.  For anyone interested in what the module might be like, please visit here dnn.bi4ce.com/ .  If your a developer & just cant wait then do a bit of research at www.google.com/apis/maps/  & you'll probably realise that its not that difficult to incorporate this technology into any module your building.  At its most basic all you need to do is 1) get data points from DNN database & 2)  Call javascript function.  For samples Javascript code visit www.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/index.html#The_Hello_World_of_Google_Maps

If your not a developer then you'll just have to make do with whats out there at the moment.  If you take a look at the feature set of the dnn.bi4ce.com/ goMap module then you'll realise that there's probably a lot of work involved porting this to standard DNN Module.

Cheers

John

Morke,

I too have a similar history and am making a similar transition.  posting any of the resources that you mention would be very useful  to some of us dinosaurs.  (maybe with a comment or two on how it applies to/ helps with DNN might be useful)  Just a suggestion.

Thanks

So now it has entered the Release tracker we all should keep our fingers crossed to see that it actually passes all the tests at once!!!

But it's good to see that it is actually all going to happen.

Thanks

Marc
