I get a “page not found” when I navigate to a page under the “Host” tab for all of the pages that contain a space in the page name.
This is a fresh 4.4.1 install. I am logged on as host.

Eg: “Host Settings” or ‘Module Definitions” not working but “Portals” is working.

Admin account works fine for all of the admin page/tab items with or without spaces.

BTW: The strange this is – if change the URL from:

http://myhost/dnn/Host/Host%20Settings/tabid/16/portalid/0/Default.aspx

to:

http://myhost/dnn/Host/HostSettings/tabid/16/portalid/0/Default.aspx

it works.

Which internet browser are you using?

Also, which package did you use for installation?  Install or source?

I have tried Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.0.0.2. With Firefox I get the message: "The system cannot find the file specified." I used the Install package. It is a Windows 2003 server and the address is: http://66.132.240.83/dnn/.

Also since my post, I have totally reinstalled (to check everything) and everything works as admin - just the Host account and those pages with the spaces (%20) does not work.  I used the same installer download file and installed on another server on my LAN, and that works without the problem (ruling out the download).

Thanks for the help!

I don't know why it won't work if a space is in the name, but you can keep the Page Names from being in the Url by changing the includePageNames attribute in the web.config to false.
