make shure there are not the new SqlDataProviders are in the Provider Forlder, and that are not the new dll files are in the Bin folder, then you can upgrade directly to 4.4.1.

If you restor the database, please make shure ther are only the dataproviders in the Provider folder for the version that is on the database.

Hi Aarsys,

Thanks for your help....are you saying for me to just delete the providers folder and the bin folder before the upgrade then I will be able to do the 4.4.1 upgrade?

At the moment, my uploads are failing at wh4l, so I am not able to do much of anything and they don't seem to know why.  I've tryed on different computers to do the upgrade uploads and each time the upload fails.  They say it's my computer but it is many computers.....on different networks.  I'm not sure if they will ever fix it....it is driving me crazy.

Only delete the bin folder, if you have a brocken Update, and restore the  bin folder from the previos version. Delete the new SqlDataProviders that come with the new version. Then restore the Database of the prvios installed version. This is only to make shure you can restore your DNN, not to do update!

With your upload i can not help you. That is Problem with your ISP and Hosting provider.

Regards

Matthias
