seems like you forgot to rename release.config to web.config...

also, afaik there is no need to do any replacements in dotnetnuke.install.config

hi
thaks for the comment about dotnetnuke.install.config I did wonder.

seems like you forgot to rename release.config to web.config...
I used the web.config in the release and changed the conection lines.
It all seems to be there.
Is there a difference between release.config and the web.config contained in the install package?
Thanks
Paul

hmm, no there is no difference...sorry for the confusion.

You might also want to check whether your application is set up to run in the .NET 2.0 framework (you might be able to do that through your control panel interface)

The following appears on the error page, and I have checked the setup in Plesk.

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.42

I wonder where the config might be declared (what file) and if I have a protection issue - I'm not sure at this point where to look.
