David, the problem as I understand isn't with DNN but with GoDaddy. I did a quick google and found a post on asp.net from 2005 about problems installing DNN on GoDaddy (http://forums.asp.net/p/893977/958251.aspx). I see far more posts about problems installing DNN on GoDaddy than I do on any other hosting company which leads me to believe the problem is with GoDaddy.

As for MyNetNuke charging a subscription to read his tutorials....that's his decision. He's evidently spent the time to comb through forum posts, internet searches, etc. to gather the information to put together his tutorial and maybe even buying an account on GoDaddy that he didn't need just for the tutorial. Is it really that wrong for him to ask to be compensated a few dollars (and it really is only a few dollars) for his time?

BTW in my quick Google search I also found this link via the Snapsis website. There you go and for no charge.
