When i tryed to install DNN 4.5.3, it gone fine untill it goes to database script installation. I gave username and password too. While it was running install database scripts, it gives following error :

Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...undefined...Success
Installation of Database Complete

And then Next is enabled but whenever i press next button, it does same this step, gives same above response and it halts from there. Nothing happens next.

What could be problem ? Can anybody help me out ?

how did you specify your database and which additional steps did you take to set it up (if any)?

As mentioned above with a bit more information we should be able to help you a bit more.

Also when you specified the db information had you modified the values in the web.config before?

Hi,

I do have the same problem.

I'm trying to install the latest DNN on to my localhost and the SQL 2005 server db is in the remote server (LAN).  When I entered the db information and test the connection it is successful but when clicked on the Next button it just loops within the same page and the tables are also not created in the database.  What could be the problem?  I'm using the sa account to login to the db.

Me to i tried install on local machine and on server same problem as above I have tried downloading severl fresh versions with no sucess. The crazy thing is that I have had DNN running comfortably in both enviroments but can't seem to get there now. I still have an earler version of DNN running on my local machine.
