You are mainly talking about keeping the application resident in memory in IIS. I'm not as sure that this approach keeps a copy of each page around -- already compiled and rendered -- ready for fast delivery. I suspect not. (I'm sure this is well discussed elsewhere in these forums!) However I just got a copy of the free www.Snapsis.com PageBlaster (there is a ~$50 version that does a bunch more neat stuff too), which Nina recommends (she's a demi-goddess around here!) and that can be set to prerender every page once it is edited and that woudl add to your delivery speed I suspect. I would love your tray app if you don't mind, with source if ok (I won't ever sell it), send to: keepalive at vashonsoftware dot com. Thx!

VashJuan,

I emailed you a copy of the source project, it's in VB2005.  I suspect that you are right so I installed this package as well.  We'll see what happens but I can already see the performance gain so it's nice... especially since it's free.  Combined with the keep alive I wrote, this should keep things going pretty smoothly I think.
