I have a clean install of 4.05.3 running against a new SQL2005 DB.   I keep having the issue of my menu items disappearing including my host and admin tabs.  I have caching set at heavy to disk and am using whitepace removal using default settings.

Almost  all of my public tabs disappear, it is as if the routine to get the list of tabs and the associated permissions does not complete and then it does not try and refresh the list.  Result is a partial site that I have yet to find out how to correct and avoid the issue.  when I login as Host or admin these tabs also are missing.   This only happens periodically, but when it happens I never know until I get a call from a user asking where did all of the site go?  Embarrassing to say the least.

when I try to visit a page in history that should be there I get the message: "Index was outside the bounds of the array."

I have the events module installed and running, have heard that has issues but assumed by this time major bugs would be fixed.

Any guidance on getting this to run without the menu items disappearing or how to easily get them back?

Thanks in advance,

Brook

Not sure if this problem warrants a new post.  The problem is with version 4.5.3.  If there are child menus on any menu, when you mouse over the parent, the whole page jumps.  If you have an extensive menu system, this is very annoying.  I've uninstalled the skin, reinstalled it.  Used different skins that resulted in the same problem

I resorted to uninstalling dnn and reinstalling and have the same problem.  Has anyone else had this problem and can help me correct it?

BTW, the menu works fine when logged into edit mode.

I have this happen all the time on one of our 4.5.3 installations. Never had it prior to 4.5.3.

In the event viewr this almost always start with the file manager.
