That sounds like a permission error. Does Network Service/ASPNET have modify permissions to your DNN directory (All Files and Folders in the directory)?

i have solved the permission problem...now...i have proceed to the installation --> configure Database connection....

what is the IP address of SQL server 2000 database? is it .\SQL?

it appear some of the errors message stated below

It depends on where your SQL server is but if it's on the same computer then .\SQL should work or possibly (local). Have you got SQL installed somewhere? Have you setup a user in SQL with the required permissions?
