After successfull install, when accessing http://localhost/ , it return page not found 4.0.4 error. Any clue. Trying to start configuring the First site.

Did you set DNN up at localhost, or under a virtual directory such as

 

http://localhost/dotnetnuke ?

did you install .Net 2.0 properly and set up default.aspx as default document in IIS web site configuration?

Yes. Properly set the documents and the .net 2.

Will be an issue if I am running the site on a virtual OS?  Cause it seems like it is grabbing the iis settings from the host OS (Vista). ?
