Well actually it isn't free.  You have to sign-up for a subscription to read these types of How To Atricles on his site.  Having said that, his site looks professional, and his subscription fees are reasonable, so i've signed-up (waiting for the e-check to clear).  Once I read the How To Article, I'll compare it with other suggestions made here and move forward with the best option.  Thank you all for your help.

Hi there, thanks for comments, i would like to keep my how to articles free for all, but since godaddy changes it policies lot, i have to update instructions continuesly. Please let me know if you need more help with EasyCGI. Because i also have a hosted website there and i am familiar with its control panel.

I would like some information from people who erad his articles and got it to work, cause it kinda sounds scammy as you have to pay upfront and everyone elses article doesent work

I wanted to provide you with some feedback as I followed Ismet's instructions but had to modify them a bit since my provider is Easy CGI rather than GoDaddy.  For the most part the instructions were fairly easy to follow.  I'm sure they would have been much easier if I was on GoDaddy.  I was able to successfully move a website to the root and the website comes up, etc.  I am having some issues, but I've posted the specifics on Ismet's site.  The primary issues revolve around admin functions not working, so I am getting DNN errors on my site when attempting to do many of the admin functions.  Overall, the article was worth the subscription cost.

OK folks, on Easy CGI, this ended up being a lot easier than it appears from Ismet's instructions for GoDaddy.com.  I've written up the steps that I performed to successfully move my 4.7 DNN instance on Easy CGI to the root of my website.  For those interested, you can find the instructions here:
