I just changed one scheduler item "start on" from "none" to "application_start" and then re-started the site in the Host menu.  Now when I try to load up the page it is timing out.  I think I may have finally triggered the scheduler item which is supposed to run once every 5 minutes but perhaps with catch up enabled it is now trying to send emails that haven't been sent out for months.  That may be bogging down the system....I don't know.  But my site is down for the time being so that's not good.  Maybe it's because I had catch up enabled?

Is there a way to keep from having my posts from being moderated?  I've been on DNN for five years now...perhaps it's time to stop moderating my posts?

What worked for me was disabling every item in the scheduler one by one and then enabling back one by one...

nb your footer says you use DNN 4.8.1 yet you say you are on 4.9.4? If you are still on 4.8.1 you should definately upgrade to at least the latest version of 4.x.

I suggest you try/test 5.1.2 when it's out assuming the issue below and related issues (see links on that page) get fixed for 5.1.2.

Note there is going to be a 4.9.5 but that probably won't fix any issues with the scheduler, you really need to be looking towards 5.x. Only showstoppers will get fixed for 4.x - and that might not be an option soon.

You should be allowed to post immediately now on these forums, although you will probably still get a message afterward stating your post will need to be approved (this is a bug with the version of forums installed on dotnetnuke.com).
