You all got me thinking about this again... Here is my last post on this issue from last year...

Well, i had the same problem.

I created a new empty compressed folder (right click -> New -> Compressed (zipped) Folder) and unpacked DotNetNuke.zip (My Documents\\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic). Then i moved DotNetNuke.vstemplate and DotNetNuke.webproj to the new compressed folder - and the project template appeared in the wizzard (after i switched to Visual Basic).

Then i moved the unpacked files folder by folder and piece by piece the the new archive and checked that the project template was still visible. It was still visible after i moved the last file.

So, my guess is that the DotNetNuke.vstemplate has to be the first file in the .zip archive.
