Where in the host settings do you specify the register page?  i'm having the same issue with dnn v04.08.02. When I click "register" the page is refreshed. I created a page and attempted to install the user accounts module but when I clicked "add" it made the User Account page look just like the home page.  Also, when I try to install the User Account module to any other page the container appears but there is no content inside.  I have already specified the user fields by going to Manage Profile Properties as well.

On another note, I created a site a while back which allowed me to set up the register link very easily.  It uses v04.08.03, do i need to upgrade?  Is this a bug?

I found it easiest to not specify anything but the HOME page. That's it. Leave everything else in the "site settings" as unspecified.  You can leave an Account Login module in your homepage if you want.  Otherwise visitors can just use the login link supplied by the skin.
