Buongiorno Sandro!

Ti scrivo in italiano...

Io ho una nuova installazione versione 05.01.00 (773) e anche a me si presenta l'errore subito dopo il login.

Che modifiche hai apportato al web config?

il mio attualmente, nella sezione indicata da charlie, è il seguente:

<configuration>

.......

  <location path="WebCoreModule.ashx">
    <system.web>
      <authorization>
        <allow users="*" />
      </authorization>
    </system.web>
  </location>

...

</configuration>

che manca?

Grazie e scusa il disturbo.

Oh sorry ... I answer myself... I removed this section:

  <location path="WebCoreModule.ashx">
    <system.web>
      <authorization>
        <allow users="*" />
      </authorization>
    </system.web>
  </location>

Now the error after login does not appear...

I already have this line...    <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" cookieless="UseCookies" />   in my web.config file and I'm still getting this error.

I upgraded from 4.9, I used the upgrade version of DNN 5.00. I can't recall having to change to web.config file, although the installation of new modules have added essential lines to the web.config file.

Wooo Hooo! This is why I love open source and DotNetNuke. Thank you community and DNN for the providing the answer. I commented out a couple legacy location lines in my web.config and that solved the problem.

-something clever or funny.

Has the been resolved in 5.3 or sooner? ( we are currently using that for an additional page we use for session management, and it would be helpful if we can use tag to create a custom authentication for our additional page. Currently we are using 5.1.4 professional and it does not work correctly.
