i forgot to mention that i did the upgrade on our test site. But in production, is it safe to upgrade from 5.0.1 to 5.1 despite the error? Or should we wait?

It is perfectly safe to upgrade with this error.

The script that fails is attempting to drop a poorly performant index and replace it with a more performant one, so if it fails to run the situation is NO different than what you have in 5.0.1 with regard to that database table.

The fix is included in the Gemini issue.

Just take the sql script (which will be part of 5.1.1) and paste it in the Host/SQL module and execute it
