Hi, I transfer a 5.0 site, and presented this error. I fixed copying the Global.asax file from the original installation files (available at dnn)

fyi

I had this issue after testing DNNBackup/restore on a different directory/different install of dnn, recieved and error on it and then went back to sites on root dnn install and they had this error.

I made a copy of web.config and then opened web.config and deleted a space and saved it and it fixed the error. Note web.config file modifed date had not changed.
