Hello All,

I figured out the issue myself and I will let you all know how I fixed it.  There was a line of code setting tab permissions for my new dynamically created page from the current tab's permissions.  This was conflicting with the new nuke dll.  After I rebuilt my module with the 5.2 dnn dll, I simply commented out the code that set up the permissions automatically.  We will have to set our tab permissions for our dynamically created page manually now, but the module is working, so I am happy.  Here is the line of code that was the issue:

objNewTab.TabPermissions = PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabPermissions

Happy coding!

Even though The TabPermissions property is read-only, you should still be able to copy permissions from the parent tab, etc. and save them to the database. I would suggest that you take a look at the various public shared methods in the source code of the TabController and TabPermissionController classes to see how this can be done. Something like this perhaps (completely untested and without security/error handling):

objNewTab.TabPermissions.Clear()
objNewTab.TabPermissions.AddRange(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabPermissions)
TabPermissionController.SaveTabPermissions(objNewTab)
DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.DataCache.ClearTabsCache(PortalSettings.PortalID)
