Hi All,

After managing to migrate our DNN site from Oracle DB to SQL Server I thought I will share my harrowing experience with those who might be tasked with such an exercise - I am no pro at using SQL Server but I would recommend NOT to use SSMA. Reasons being
1. When migrating stored procedures SSMA tends to add return parameter declarations in Sql Server which invariably results in 'Parameter Count is not equal to the parameter value count' error within DNN.
2. Although not a major issue, If any columns in the tables have Oracle sequences, SSMA tends to create an equivalent 'Sequence' object for the corresponding column in SQL Server. This caused issues when migrating data as the sql server table might have that column defined as an Identity column.
