Kelvin, it's still a permissions problem - all the accounts you mentioned (and the one I suggested) are local machine accounts - if you're working with a cluster you'll need to grant domain permissions so each webserver has sufficent permissions to access a central server

Chris Hi,

Your pointer to the blogs worked. The manual method failed, yet the automated site setup worked except for DNN still wanting Network Service permissions added. Seems the sequence you add these permissions or some IIS 'feature' is perhaps breaking it.

Thanks for the pointers.
