Adding http alias is fine. It is the root of your server.

So I would assume that there is no local SQL Server Express installed on your host.

OK - yes that is what I assumed as well. Although I wondered if it is possible that they might have their asp.net 2.0 configuration setup incorrectly e.g. the DataDirectory variable used in the connection string might be wrong.

So what about asking your server?

Save the following lines as CheckIt.aspx inside your webserver and open it using http://bridge.daleburrell.com/checkit.aspx
