I have installed the 5.6.1-Beta and I still have some problems with this.

I am using a Silverlight Pivot control on my site, and it requires that I register additional types of cxml, dzc, dzi and xap. (See http://www.silverlight.net/learn/pivotviewer/release-notes/#Deploying)

I had done this in DNN 5.5.1 and all was fine. When I upgraded to 5.6, I cannot get to the root page any more without the needing to press the "Return to Site" button.

The only other effect is I am getting many PortalAliases added as I am using the system. I have set the Settings pages Portal Aliases Mapping Mode = Canonical

For example
localhost/dotnetnukecomm
localhost/dotnetnukecomm/song.cxml
localhost/dotnetnukecomm/song-879d67bd27924f9bb3fdcc4b39fcd56a.dzc
(the last two entries should not be there)

Previously in this thread, the UrlRewriteModule.vb code was updated to take into account png and txt suffixes. Should that be updated to include the Silverlight Pivot types as well?

There are a lot of mime types out there, should their handling be hard coded in a vb module or more dynamically expressed?

I have installed the 5.6.1-Beta and I an still having problems.

I am using a Silverlight Pivot control in my site that requires the suffixes .cxml .dzc, .dzi and .xap be registered. (See http://www.silverlight.net/learn/pivo...) All was well in DNN 5.5.1, but when I went to 5.6, I ran into the issues presented earlier in the Thread.

I have set the SiteSettings, Portal Aliases, PortalAliasMappingMode=Canonical
and what is happening is I am getting many PortalAlaises added when they should not be.
    localhost/dotnetnukecomm

 localhost/dotnetnukecomm/song.cxml
    localhost/dotnetnukecomm/song-879d67bd27924f9bb3fdcc4b39fcd56a.dzc
    ...

Earlier in the thread, additional conditions where added to UrlRewriteModule.vb to properly handle png and txt suffixes.  Does an additional change need to be made to support the 4 Silverlight/Pivot types as well?

Should there be a change to support dynamically specifying which suffixes to map instead of the list be hard coded in the UrlRewriteModule.vb
 code?

FWIW, In the <system.webServer> runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests may be caused by WCF (web service) running under IIS. You may notice a <system.serviceModel> section as well.

Wayne just one thing - you aren't using the beta in production are you? (you are simply testing?). Thanks...
