I had the same problem but on an 'upgrade' to 5.5.1 on GoDaddy.  I had to download and install the latest Telerik RadEditor (previously used FCK and it 'carried over' somehow).  I also had to download and install the latest HTML Module from the Projects page.  Both of these were suggestions by others on these here Forums...

HTML Module 5.4.3 and Telerik 5.4.2 is what ultimately worked.  I just checked my latest 'virgin' GoDaddy DNN 5.5.1 install and that is what it has, too...

Check in Host and Extensions; the editor is not a 'module' ; it shows up under 'Providers'.

you may want to install advanced Telerik Rad Editor from radeditor.codeplex.com, which comes with an admin module to switch default between all rich text editor providers installed on the site.
