Hi Guys,
I installed DNN 6 the other day and all went well, I then tried to install Razor Host and got this error message
Info Reading Package Manifest - Module - DNNCorp.RazorHost
Failure A dependent component is not installed -

It was after I tried to install YouTube Gallery by Matt Kane from the Hackathon Gallery. It said I needed Razor Host.

Any ideas how to fix.

Kind regards,
Buck

razor requires .net 4.0 so check you've installed that -also it's a part of the asp.net mvp3 release so that needs installed also (http://www.asp.net/mvc/mvc3)

I had the same error, .Net 4.0 was installed so I did a lot of install, reinstall of the framework and MVC.  Still had same problem.

Then I remembered something I'd seen in a Razor tutorial somewhere.  In WebMatrix Settings for the site I first tried ".Net 4 Integrated".  Nope, time out error.

What finally worked was to change to ".Net 4 Classic" in WebMatrix Settings for the site.  No idea why it installs as 2/3.5 but it did.
