Thanks,

Hi Kevin,

I solved the problem by running all SQLdataproviderscripts from version 03.02.05 and up. It was somewhere on this forum as a trick to perform when you get the error albeit for an older DNN version upgrade!

After perfoming this I was able to create new portals.

You can find the scripts at the following location:  [DNN install root dir]\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider

You can run the scripts by copying them from your DNN directly into your DNN SQL tool and selecting the run as script checkbox before executing the SQL statements.

Or, if you have direct access to your SQL: server you can run the scripts from the command prompt or from the SQL Query analyzer tool. Ok hope this helps, good luck, if you need a more detailed description don´t hesitate to ask...

Jerry,

Thank you for responding so quickly.  I tried to run each of the SqlProviders in the DNN SQL tool, but it didn't help.  I did notice that when I did the scripts, some of them returned some errors.  Most were sucessful.   Any other ideas?  If not, hopefully the upgrade to DNN 4.5 will solve the problem when it is released.

Thanks again!

Kevin
