MS Access was only supported in DNN version 2, to use MySQL, you need an appropriate data adapter, AFAIK there is one for sale at www.snowcovered.com, but it might support a limited number of modules. I suggest to use free MS SQL Express.

Can 3.2.2 sites run side-by-side with 4.4.1? I am running 3.2.2 using Win2K and MSDE on a very stable site with Active Forums.

I want to upgrade to Framework 2 and use SQL Server Express and 4.4.1. Can this be done and is there a best practice for setting it up? The idea is to leave my stable site with 3.2.2 for now while I set up a brand new site with 4.4.1 and get the hang of it before upgrading everything. Let me know if I'm too paranoid and I should just go for it on a site upgrade.

Also, when you install SQL Server Express, does this basically replace MSDE whether I like it or not and will it mess up my MSDE databases?

Thanx, john from Colorado

When will documentation for DNN 4.5 version be available?

Is upgrade from 4.4.1 to 4.5 same as was 4.4.0 to 4.4.1?

The implication is that it is the same, but it would be nice to see an official clarification.
