Well .. to be sinciere, I am a rookie on this new software, therefore if I'll try to follow what you said. and I'll mess it up .. well I think.... MY Primary concern is the FCKEDITOR becuase the default html/editor is bonkers.. it does'nt allow me to input links :S and instead shows me always the same error : . Is there any documentation for the 4.5 upgrade?

Hi.

I have also one question about installation of DNN 4.5.1 (which has in my opinion got better from previous version). The installation went trough fine in every step. Then I clicked view page - or what it says after the installation is completed, and I should be able to view main and installed site. But I get redirected to INSTALLPATH/install, and get error "Directory listing denied".

So - after successful installation, I keep get redirected to the install directory. Why is that? What am I missing?

Any help is apreciated.

Take a look on the the File Manager pages (Admin and Host), and you'll see a new feature regarding file/folder permissions. Set the read and read/write permissions there according to roles, and the directory error will go away.

At least, that's what happened to me when I went to 4.5.1.

I am getting the same error trying to reinstall 3.3.7 on a new test machine. I set up the configuration correctly as far as I can tell (and as I have done several times before), but now I'm stumped...
