There's a PDF about using the starter kit in the dowloadable documentation .zip file. The trick with the renaming is simpe: dowload the starterkit and change the extension of .zip file to .vsi (using F2 ). Follow the instructions in the PDF from there.

And when starting a new website in VS, make sure the language is set to VB.Net

Is this about Starter Kit true even in VS 2005 Professional Edition also? When you talk about VS 2005, doesn’t you really refer to VS 2005 Express or..?

Well - I tried to install the starterkit, but was denied due to wrong VS2005 version.

My version doesn’t handle projects, I was told in the error message.

Sorry – above I forgot to paste the error message:

Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist. The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio.

I have the following installations:
VS 2005 Professional Edition,
SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition
Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition
