I am just upgrading my version of DNN from 7.4.2 to 8.0.4 and am also receiving this error when I log into my instance. There has been 4 updates of DNN since this issue was posted, is this going to be resolved soon?

I performed an upgrade from 7.4.2 to 8.0.4(226) and am still getting this error upon logging into my instance. There has been four versions of DNN released since this issue was raised. When will this be resolved?

yes, the fix has not yet been incorporated into a version released. You may either download from https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform/pull/1455 and run the script yourself or use my Turbo Scripts, which includes it (version for DNN 8.0.4 will be released within the next days).

I have confirmed that this bug is STILL in version 9.0.  Not sure why a fix hasn't been implemented.

there might be a situation, where this issue hasn't been merged into DNN 9.0.0, however, I wouldn't suggest using it for production and especially not for upgrades.
