Questions:
What account was setup as super user? "HOST"?
What is the password of this account?  Any other relevant information for this type of installation?

Probably, I'll do a lot of "Installs" from now on. If you can explain what may have been wrong with the previous approach I would be grateful.

I always use "Internet Download Manager" program to make my downloads and it is not influenced by Attachment Manager in Microsoft Windows. Also, I set up the Web content zones in Microsoft Internet Explorer on the Security tab, including "dotnetnuke.codeplex.com" in Trusted sites, so my downloads also are not influenced by Attachment Manager in Microsoft Windows.
