icnocop - the Admin tab is an Administrators only section, so you must be logged in (as an administrator) to get to it. There is no URL to get you there without logging in.

Hi Everybody,

First, about uploading a screen shot. I'm not such a newbie :) so I can make a screenshot and so one. I was using exacltly these steps, to insert an image into document. Unformtunately, I was confused, because after choosing Insert Image From gallery, I couldn't upload it! Still getting You do not have permission to upload images. message.

It is just not working, like by the other forums:) Maybe I just need to find a right way ...

Anyway. Now it is working. Thanks to information about portals aliases, and accessing it over either IP adderes or localhost alias, it is working now.

The funny thing is ... why?! :) I'm also working with Apache, and there I can just give a host name, as a address and it is working just fine. If there is no proper DNS, then sometimes, I need to access over IP addres, but this is not an issue in my LAN. The DNS is working fine, and I can access this machine using name.

I think, the IIS is doing some kind of mess around. I must say, that working with apache or tomcat is much much easier then with IIS. Or maybe this is just a likenes thing.

Anyway, thank you very much for all your help and time you spend posting the solutions for me.

But, if I might, maybe you can point me also the solution. What I would like to us DDN is to represent my custom made database for my self. I'm not a web developer, but db developer. What I would like to have, is a simple solution (i think a module), where I would like to specify views/tables which can be shown on a web page, where I set up a filter on specified fields, and then, print a reports from it.

I would like to have a solution, where I can build a simple screen, for imputing data into tables, or even better, that I could have a screen, where after pushing a update button the SP in DB will be called, with parameters defined, with values read from some text fields on this screen.

Do I want to much from DDN with this option? I mean is there module, which can be used in this way exactly or maybe with just slight modifications? Probably not, but if I will not ask, I will feel terrible :)

Best regards and thank you again for patience

Matik

Hi, Matik.

I'm myself in the same position as you are, so I have decided to build my own module because other modules don't offer what I need even with minor modifications. Also it might worth to look at other modules source code for common implementations.

Michael
